Comparison of Pavement Performance of Different Modified Emulsified Asphalt at Fine Surface
The fine surface is a kind of pre maintenance technology of pavement fine surface treatment thin layer. Three kinds of modified emulsified asphalt, i.e. a finished SBS modified emulsified asphalt, a domestic SBR latex modified emulsified asphalt and an imported SBR latex modified emulsified asphalt, were selected for fine surface mixing
Contrast test of material road performance. After a comprehensive mix design, the three indexes of abrasion resistance, water damage resistance and skid resistance are selected to evaluate the road performance
The road performance of the fine surface depends on its binder modified emulsified asphalt [4]. At present, the modified emulsified asphalt is generally divided into two kinds of SBR and SBS modification. This time, adding high-performance epoxy polyurethane thermosetting resin into the binder system, which modification method can better integrate with the epoxy polyurethane system is worth exploring. Therefore, select different and representative and innovative cementitious materials: finished SBS modified emulsified asphalt, a domestic SBR latex modified emulsified asphalt (referred to as sbr-a for short, with rapid setting effect) and an imported SBR latex modified emulsified asphalt (referred to as sbr-b for short) to carry out the road performance comparison test of the fine surface mixture [5
The test process and research results show that the domestic sbr-a modified emulsified asphalt and epoxy under the mix design based on the test grading
Polyurethane thermosetting resin has better compatibility, and the abrasion resistance, water damage resistance and sliding resistance of its fine surface mixture are better than SBS modified emulsified asphalt and imported SBR modified emulsified asphalt.
